What's Wrong If Gautam & I Had A Nice Time?

Bigg Boss 8 contestant Diandra Soares has been the news for wrong reasons. Her affinity for her co-contestant Gautam Gulati has led to whispers that she got pregnant in the house. SpotboyE.com caught up with her for an interview. Excerpts:

Are/Were you pregnant?

Straight to the point, eh? Okay, but this rumour about me is preposterous. My dad started calling me. I had to give him an explanation. I was suffering from irregular periods and had to undergo a sonography. Seems, India believes that a sonography can detect only pregnancies. 

The rumours stem from the fact that you dragged Gautam (Gulati) into the toilet...

Am I a fool to do something so stupid on a show on national television? Does just kissing lead to pregnancy?

Go on...

What nobody knows is that Gautam was trying to kiss me since quite some time. On his birthday, I went up to him and said: 'If you don't  have the guts to do it, then I'll do it! Agar karna hai toh let's be fearless'. Big deal!

Dimpy Mahajan was trying to listen to your bathroom conversation from outside. People got a picture that something very naughty was happening inside...

Look,  Gautam and I lived in the present. We were attracted to each other. What's wrong if we flirted and had a nice time? At least we didn't abuse, bitch, scheme like other inmates.

Did you get upset when Gautam said that he didn't want to come in the toilet- but you dragged him inside?

Of course, I was upset. Gautam was not saying the truth. The audience could make out that he was more than willing (pauses).  I have been one of the most unguarded contestants on Bigg Boss. I would be glad if someone appreciates that.

Define your association with Gautam...

It was more than friendship and less than relationship. 

Salman (Khan) got upset when Gautam did a U-turn on you...

Any righteous man would be upset. Just a gentle reminder, Gautam wanted to kiss me before I decided to kiss him.

What did Salman tell you when you got evicted?

He said, 'Diandra, you are a very strong lady. But it wasn't worth it.' And let me tell you, he had no issues with Gautam and I flirting with each other.

What if Gautam wants to connect with you after he's out from the house?

He'll need permission from his mother. She has been very unhappy with whatever happened.

Mrs Gulati hung up on us when we called her to talk about you. She is so angry with you...

Mrs Gulati is making assumptions about me by just watching a TV show. She is wrong in talking highly about her child (read Gautam) and degrading someone else's (read Diandra). 

Look at my father. He has been talking nice things about Gautam (pauses). 

All said and done, I think I am controversy’s favourite child.  I have had several rumours shrouding my modelling career. I need to accept this as a part of my destiny, I guess (sighs).

How does it feel out of the Big Boss house?

Its a mixed feeling. I have had my share of bouquets and brickbats. I didnt expect that Ill get so much response from the viewers. The first thing I did after coming out was to go to a beauty parlour. Then, Sushant (her co-contestant in Bigg Boss 8) and I had a quiet dinner. I still feel I am inside the Bigg Boss house. Its not easy to forget the experience so soon.
